NWP@Rider hosts quarterly professional development meetings throughout the school year. These meetings are generally held after school and focus on literacy and learning as it relates to the needs and interests of educators in the area. These meetings are often free and open to the community.
We invite experts educators to lead these meetings and guide participants as together we share the work of our students, discuss successes and frustrations from the classroom, participate in book studies and inquiry communities, develop new skills and techniques, read, write, and learn together. Locations for each meeting will be posted to the web as soon as they are known as well as emailed to those who have subscribed to the newsletter.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for NWP@Rider institute participants to reconnect during the school year. Join us!
